Magnificent Devices by Shelley Adina

Magnificent Devices (Magnificent Devices, #3)Magnificent Devices by Shelley Adina
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

By now I'm so thoroughly enmeshed in the steampunk world of Lady Claire Trevelyan and her young charges, that I am engrossed in the fates of all of them, and uncaring that sometimes Claire is not the direct protagonist at all times. It's quite refreshing, actually, to read aboutthe others in her little flock.

The adventure just keeps coming, and keeps my heart racing faster. I'm annoyed when things go wrong, or perhaps not so smoothly, and I'm fascinated by these magnificent devices that fill her world.

Now that the story has moved from England to the Wild West, it's even more exciting - even though there aren't any horses to be seen...
