My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was a fun little book, not particularly engrossing, but amusing nonetheless. The weirdness of the magical world making its influence felt in the "normal" realm worked well, and didn't seem too forced. The characters weren't particularly sympathetic, but I still wanted to see what happened to them in the end, and I'm glad that it wasn't a typical ending as could so easily have happened.
