John Shepherd has finally come home.
Our beautiful new boy was one of two choices from FORA - Friends of Rescued Animals.
We eventually took John Shepherd because he's smaller, seemed quieter, and had been in the kennels virtually all his life - so we wanted to give him a forever home that didn't involve concrete and cages.
We'll still be sponsoring Ronin, until we can afford to get him next year - at this point, we can't afford three dogs and six cats. And we'd prefer a much bigger property so they can run around and have fun!
Mojo went ballistic when we brought home a new friend for her. She'd been pining over the loss of McGee, and her back was covered in huge flakes of stress dandruff. Ever since Shep arrived, nary a speck.
